Now available, an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak reference 15550ST in stainless steel with a beautiful blue dial.

At 37mm, the 15550ST occupies a particularly sweet spot within the modern Royal Oak collection. In many ways, its proportions feel like a modern nod to the mid-sized Royal Oaks of the past, watches which were overlooked for many years but have since become increasingly appreciated and collectable. It retains all of the unmistakable architecture and presence of the Royal Oak, simply delivered in a wonderfully wearable size.

It is also a watch that really needs to be tried alongside its 41mm sibling to be fully appreciated. On most wrists, in our opinion, the 37mm proportions simply work better, allowing the integrated bracelet to flow more naturally around the wrist whilst losing remarkably little of the presence associated with the larger watch. Its blue Grande Tapisserie dial is particularly attractive, changing considerably under different light and complemented beautifully by the applied white-gold hour markers and hands.
