Now available, an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Flying Tourbillon “Premier”, a limited edition of just 10 pieces.

Most definitely the rarest watch we’ve ever had the pleasure of selling, of which we’ve had some incredibly rare pieces over the years, this limited edition Royal Oak truly is something very special. A limited edition of just 10 pieces, the watch is in fact made out of steel, the most popular material for Royal Oak references, and has a breathtaking aqua marine blue dial which fades to a darker blue shade at its perimeter.

Unlike a traditional tourbillon (which is mounted with a bridge that connects it to the movement on both sides), this particular reference, as noted in the model’s name, features a “flying tourbillon”. Invented in 1920 by master watchmaker Alfred Helwig, the flying tourbillon is mounted from the bottom, appearing to the eye as being unconnected and like it is hovering within the movement, making for a spectacular display.

Unworn, the watch comes totally complete with its entirety of accessories from new, including its extra-large lacquered box (with a special “Premier” badge) and its alternate rubber strap with folding clasp, and is available for viewing in London and purchase worldwide. Please get in touch for further information.
