Patek Philippe World Time
5231J-001
£95,000
Now available, an incredibly special Patek Philippe World Time with an enamel dial.
Falling under the “Rare Handcrafts” section of Patek Philippe’s collection, the reference 5231J is a not a watch to be overlooked. A even more special offering to the normal-production current world time (ref. 5230), the 5231 possesses some notable aesthetic differences to its counterpart, most notably the use of cloisonné enamel for the central section of the dial. As well as the visual differences, 5231’s are produced in far fewer numbers than normal-production world time references, and the yellow gold variant is now officially discontinued.
The Grand Feu cloisonné enamel centre of the dial depicts the Atlantic Ocean, North and South America, Africa, Europe, and western Asia, and features four gold spangles at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. With each dial being executed by hand, no two watches are identical, making this already incredibly rare watch totally unique.
Unworn, the watch comes complete with its entirety of accessories from new including additional Rare Handcrafts certificate, and is available for viewing in London and purchase worldwide. Please get in touch for further information.
