Now available, an exceptionally special pair of Patek Philippe Calatravas, references 6127G-010 and 7127G-010 in white gold, created exclusively for Japan to celebrate the Watch Art Grand Exhibition in Tokyo in 2023.

A wonderful his-and-hers pairing, and one of the most charming limited editions we have had the pleasure of handling. Patek Philippe produced just 300 matched pairs, presented together in a dedicated double box, with a further 100 examples of each reference offered individually. That makes 400 of each colour, but only 300 originally supplied together as a set.

And what colours they are. The 36mm gentleman’s 6127G features an extraordinary sky-blue lacquered dial, whilst the 31mm ladies’ 7127G is finished in an equally beautiful lilac. Both have an almost enamel-like gloss, with matching alligator straps, delicate applied white-gold markers and a small seconds display at six. Their elegant, stepped lugs add another lovely touch to an otherwise wonderfully understated design.

Beneath the solid white-gold casebacks, each engraved ‘Patek Philippe – Tokyo’, sits the manually wound calibre 215 PS. The engraving is a discreet reminder of the exhibition, held at Tokyo’s Shinjuku Sumitomo Building in June 2023, and of the Japanese tradition of paired watches that inspired their creation.

Crucially, these are one of the original 300 matched sets, with closely corresponding case and movement numbers and that fantastic double presentation box. Both watches have been worn only a handful of times since new and remain unpolished. Accompanied by their 2023-dated Certificates of Origin, they come fully complete with their entirety of accessories from new. A genuinely exciting find, and a particularly lovely opportunity to acquire these two rare Calatravas exactly as Patek Philippe intended: together.
