Patek Philippe Nautilus Perpetual Calendar
5740/1G-001
£168,500
Now available, a Patek Philippe Nautilus Perpetual Calendar in white gold.
When discussing “the perfect watch”, you could be accused of being wrong if you weren’t to include the reference 5740/1G amongst your shortlist. This thin-wearing, precious metal Nautilus truly is something very, very special.
It’s iconic, Genta-designed case and bracelet is crafted in white gold, and of course, its beautifully-symmetrical dial is blue in colour, as per the original Nautilus from 1976. However, the technological advancement of this reference compared to the original reference 3700 is vast.
Boasting a perpetual calendar complication within, the ultra-thin self-winding calibre 240 Q, the introduction of the reference 5740 marked the first time a Nautilus had a “Grand Complication” offering, as well as being the brand’s thinnest perpetual calendar.
In like-new condition, fitted with the new-style, micro-adjusting clasp, and complete with its entirety of accessories from new, the watch is available for viewing in London and purchase worldwide.
