Produced from the mid-2000s through to around 2020, the 5140 represents a fascinating bridge between eras for Patek Philippe - carrying forward the DNA of the legendary reference 3940, while introducing a slightly larger, more contemporary 37mm case. The lineage is unmistakable; from the elegant dial layout to the perfectly balanced subdials, it remains one of the purest expressions of the perpetual calendar wristwatch.
