Now available, a Patek Philippe Nautilus Chronograph in full rose gold, reference 5980/1R-001.

Introduced in 2006 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Nautilus, the 5980 was the very first chronograph ever incorporated into the iconic porthole design. With its bold 40.5mm case and integrated bracelet, the model quickly became a cornerstone of modern Patek sports watch collecting.

The 5980/1R-001, executed entirely in 18k rose gold, pairs rich warmth with a gradient black-to-brown dial, highlighted by horizontal embossing and applied luminous hour markers. Its single sub-dial at 6 o’clock houses both the 60-minute and 12-hour chronograph counters in a neat, balanced register - a signature design choice that keeps the dial harmonious despite its complication.

Inside beats the in-house Calibre CH 28-520 C, a self-winding column-wheel chronograph movement with vertical clutch, visible through the sapphire caseback. Both technically robust and aesthetically commanding, the reference remains one of the most sought-after Nautilus executions of the last two decades.

In excellent overall condition and complete with its entirety of accessories from new, the watch is available for viewing in London and purchase worldwide. Please get in touch for further information.
