Patek Philippe Nautilus
5711/1R-001
£115,000
Now available, a Patek Philippe Nautilus in rose gold.
Reference 5711 needs no introduction, being quite possibly the most desired watch on the planet. A modern interpretation of the original, Genta-designed reference 3700, the 5711 is most well-known for its stainless steel iteration, however its the rose gold version (showcased here) which far surpasses its non-precious-metal sibling. Effortlessly chic, ultra-thin, and iconic by design, it really is the perfect contender for the “one watch collection”.
There’s no shortage of talk around the 5711, but the “/1R” version is in a league of its own. With its warm rose gold case and bracelet, paired with that rich sunburst dial, it’s a watch that feels less like a statement and more like a quiet flex. Understated, but impossible to miss. The way the dial shifts tone in different light adds a whole other layer of character, going from soft bronze to near black depending on the angle.
At 40mm, it’s that classic Nautilus shape we all know. Slim, balanced, and incredibly wearable, but the precious metal changes everything. It’s still sporty, still versatile, but with a weight and presence that takes it firmly into dress watch territory, without losing its edge.
This UK-supplied example from 2017 comes to us in lightly worn condition, and comes totally complete with its entirety of accessories from new. The watch is available for viewing in London and purchase worldwide. Please get in touch for further information.
