Of all the Aquanaut references produced by Patek Philippe, the 5164 has always been our favourite. Whilst the time-only models offer wonderful simplicity, the Travel Time elevates the platform to something altogether more complete. The visual symmetry of the watch remains perfectly intact, whilst the addition of a second time zone, local and home day/night indicators, and date display transforms the watch into one of the most practical complications within the manufacture's modern catalogue.

At 40.8mm, it is also, in our view, the perfect Aquanaut. Large enough to carry real presence on the wrist, yet retaining the comfort, wearability, and versatility that have made the collection such a success. Combined with the warmth of the rose gold case, the rich brown embossed dial, and matching composite strap, it is a remarkably handsome watch in any setting.

This particular example was supplied in the UK in December 2021 and comes directly from its original owner. Unpolished and presenting in exceptional overall condition throughout, it shows little to no signs of wear and remains exactly as one would hope to find such a watch.
