Patek Philippe Annual Calendar Regulator
5235G-001
£29,950
Now available, a distinctive Patek Philippe Annual Calendar Regulator reference 5235G-001 in white gold.
Introduced at Baselworld 2012, the 5235 marked a quiet but important departure for Patek Philippe - both technically and aesthetically. Drawing inspiration from traditional regulator clocks once used by watchmakers as precision references, the display separates the hours, minutes, and seconds across the dial, creating something that feels both highly functional and refreshingly unconventional within the brand’s catalogue.
Its sharp, architectural case design takes cues from the legendary reference 3448 of 1962, giving the watch a more modern, almost instrument-like presence on the wrist, while still retaining the refinement expected of a Patek Philippe complication. Beneath the surface sits the calibre 31-260 REG QA - the brand’s first movement developed specifically for a regulator wristwatch, and a technical achievement in its own right.
The white gold 5235G was produced for a relatively short period before being discontinued in favour of the later rose gold variant, making these original examples increasingly sought after today. This particular 2013 example comes from its original owner, UK-supplied, and remains unpolished. It presents in excellent overall condition, with only light signs of wear visible to the bezel edge, and is offered as a complete set with its entirety of accessories from new.
A quietly important and wonderfully different modern Patek Philippe - and one that continues to grow in appreciation among collectors. The watch is available for viewing in London and purchase worldwide. Please get in touch for further information.
