Now available, a particularly special Jaeger-LeCoultre Grande Reverso Ultra Thin 1931 in 18ct pink gold - one of the most sought-after modern interpretations of the iconic Reverso.

Produced in relatively small numbers and increasingly difficult to find today, this reference has quietly become one of the most desirable modern Reverso models. Much of that appeal lies in its beautifully executed chocolate brown dial, which contrasts beautifully against the warmth of the rose gold case. With its applied markers, elegant dauphine hands and small seconds register at six o’clock, the dial remains wonderfully balanced and unmistakably Art Deco in its proportions.

A particularly charming detail is the dial signature itself. In a nod to the original 1930s Reverso models, the dial features no Jaeger-LeCoultre branding at all - simply the word “Reverso” above the small seconds. This subtle design choice gives the watch a distinctly vintage character and beautifully echoes the earliest examples produced in the early years of the model’s life. True to its name, the Grande Reverso Ultra Thin 1931 remains wonderfully slim on the wrist while still offering the satisfying presence of the larger Reverso case. As with all Reverso models, the ingenious reversible case - originally designed to protect the dial of polo players’ watches - remains one of the most recognisable and enduring designs in watchmaking.

This particular 2016 example remains in exceptional overall condition, having been barely worn from new and retaining an unpolished case. It is fitted with a brand new burgundy Casa Fagliano strap and also comes with its original brown Casa Fagliano strap.
