Now available, an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Flying Tourbillon in rose gold.

Quite possibly our favourite Royal Oak reference that we’ve had the pleasure of owning and listing for sale over the past few years, there is nothing quite like a flying tourbillon wristwatch, especially when it is an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak in their very elegant rose gold case and bracelet.

Unlike a traditional tourbillon (which is mounted with a bridge that connects it to the movement on both sides), this particular reference, as noted in the model’s name, features a “flying tourbillon”. Invented in 1920 by master watchmaker Alfred Helwig, the flying tourbillon is mounted from the bottom, appearing to the eye as being unconnected and like it is hovering within the movement, making for a spectacular display.

Showing light signs of wear yet remaining unpolished, the watch comes totally complete with its entirety of accessories from new, including its extra-large lacquered box, and is available for viewing in London and purchase worldwide. Please get in touch for further information.
