Now available, an ultra-rare Rolex Day-Date 40 in platinum with an Eastern Arabic dial and baguette-cut diamond bezel.

The Rolex Day-Date is an icon in the watch world, and in more recent times, the model seems to be getting the recognition and desirability it has always deserved. Launched in 1956, the Rolex Day-Date has never left the Rolex catalogue, and has remained as the brand's signature statement watch ever since.

It is the 40mm models that have created the majority of the surge in popularity for this model, not only because they are absolutely perfect in size, but also because they are available in such an array of variations. The example showcased here is a particularly special one, being crafted in platinum with a factory-set baguette-cut diamond bezel, and sporting an exceptionally unique feature, being its dial.

The brand carries a rich history with producing Middle East-focussed Day-Date references with Eastern Arabic dials that go all the way back to the early 1960s. Unbelievably exclusive, over the past few decades these watches have become extremely collectible and have spawned a huge following among discerning collectors. In modern times, we first saw these Eastern Arabic dials in around 2016, and whilst not limited editions as such, these particular models are only supplied to select dealers in the Middle East and is therefore extremely rare to come by.

Having been worn just a handful of times, the watch comes to us in exceptional condition throughout and is fully complete with its entirety of accessories from new. It is available for viewing in London and purchase worldwide. Please get in touch for further information.
