Introduced back in 2022 alongside its less-complicated sibling (ref. 5226G-001), this reference 5326G-001 was in fact a very important step forward for the brand, being the first time Patek Philippe had combined their Annual Calendar and Travel Time complications together in a wristwatch.
As well as its vastly complicated and beautifully decorated movement (of which eight patent requests were filed for), the case itself is a work of art. The Calatrava-inspired case is rimmed with a “Clous de Paris” hobnail guilloched pattern, with each section being separated by the watch’s exquisite lugs. This hobnail pattern is continued onto the watch’s busy yet beautifully-symmetrical dial, where the charcoal grey colour has a wonderful textured finish throughout.
